Scaler Labs is committed to delivering high-quality SEO and digital marketing services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which clients may cancel services and the conditions for receiving any applicable refunds.


1. Notice of Cancellation

Clients wishing to cancel their engagement with Scaler Labs must submit a written notice via email to shahaananjum0@gmail.com. The cancellation request must include:

  • The client’s full name and business name

  • The services being canceled

  • The reason for cancellation (optional)

Unless otherwise stated in the signed agreement, a minimum of 30 days’ written notice is required for the cancellation of ongoing or retainer-based service agreements.


2. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of digital marketing and SEO services—many of which involve strategy, planning, and labor-intensive execution—Scaler Labs maintains the following refund terms:

a. General Policy

  • All payments are non-refundable once work has commenced or deliverables have been partially or fully provided.

  • Scaler Labs does not issue refunds for partial months of service, setup fees, or services that have already been rendered.

b. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis if:

  • Scaler Labs fails to deliver agreed-upon services as outlined in a signed contract and the issue is not caused by client delay, non-cooperation, or breach.

  • The client cancels a service before work has begun, and no strategic planning or onboarding tasks have been initiated.

Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days to the original payment method.


3. Month-to-Month Plans

Clients on monthly subscription plans may cancel by giving at least 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle to avoid charges for the following month.

  • If cancellation is made less than 7 days before the billing date, the next month will be charged in full.

  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of the current billing cycle.


4. Fixed-Term Contracts

For fixed-duration contracts (e.g., 3, 6, or 12 months):

  • Clients may cancel early but will incur an early termination fee equal to 50% of the remaining unpaid contract value, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • All prepaid amounts are non-refundable unless Scaler Labs materially fails to meet deliverables as defined in the contract.


5. Paused Services

Clients may request a pause in services for up to 30 days, subject to written agreement by both parties. A reduced holding fee may apply to retain resources. Services will automatically resume after the agreed-upon pause period unless otherwise modified in writing.


6. Cancellation by Scaler Labs

Scaler Labs reserves the right to cancel or suspend any agreement with immediate effect under the following conditions:

  • The client fails to make timely payments

  • The client violates the terms of the service agreement

  • The client engages in abusive, unlawful, or unethical behavior that disrupts operations

In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and the client remains liable for any outstanding amounts up to the cancellation date.


7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from cancellations or refund requests will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution terms in the signed agreement. This policy and any contractual terms shall be governed by the laws of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, India, and subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Srinagar.
